I contacted Jimmy of Computers-ITPro explained my current situation of problems in the ever-changing world of technology. My retail business revolves around Quickbooks and Quickbooks Point of sale with speed and attention to detail for our customers.
Jimmy listened and reviewed all of my current computers and recommended the best course of action for me to improve my efficiency in research and productivity.

We recently had problems with our computer as a result of a lightning storm. We were advised by a different service that it would not be cost effective to try and fix it. When Jimmy Carter {owner of "Computers-ITPro "} found out about it, he said he could help out. He basically built us a new computer {new motherboard} with more speed, and many more programs than we had on our old one.
Jimmy only had a disk of saved files from our old computer and in 12 hours called us to say our new computer was ready. He came to our house and installed it, taught us about the new programs and how to take care of it better. He also diagnosed a Time Warner cable problem with our internet that Time Warner had been trying ot resolve for over a week. {Jimmy tested the Time Warner modem and said it was bad and we notified Time Warner and they replaced the modem.}
We are very pleased and would recommend Computers-ITPro to anyone with computer needs. Also he is a very good instructor in computer use and care.

Our computers were hit by viruses so badly we couldn't do anything and only got the blue screen of death.
Computers-ITPro {Jimmy Carter} rebuilt both our laptop and desktop by saving our files on an external hard drive and then erasing the hard drive to zeros {factory condition} and reinstalling Windows XP perfectly.
Our "store bought" computers only had 40 GB hard drives and Jimmy suggested upgrading to 250 GB for the desktop and 120 GB for the laptop. He also reinstalled all my programs and taught me how to stop email viruses from getting into my computer.
After he put the new larger HARD DRIVES into the computers he made external hard drives out of the small 40 GB hard drives for me to save my important files on outside of the computer environment. He also made our computers way faster by replacing a 256 MB memory
stick with a 1024 MB memory stick or 4 times more memory...It had a remarkable effect on our computers speed. He set up our wireless network so we finally could print to the printer from our laptop no matter where we are in the house When Jimmy was finished with our computers they were the way they were the day we bought them. Wow.
He really does it fast and I highly recommend him to everyone.

My computer just got slower and slower when writing my books to the point where it was pitiful. I called Computers-ITPro and Jimmy Carter rebuilt my computer by putting in a new DVD drive, more memory to make it fast and re-installed my operating system.
Since I didn’t have a recovery disk Jimmy made his own Windows XP CD from my i386 folder and gave me a copy so I now have the OEM Windows XP CD that was installed on my computer by the manufacturer.
He put all my programs back on the computer and restored all of my important files that he had saved to an external hard drive before he worked
on my computer. He also saved a "drive image" of my computer to restore if I need it later.
Then he did an amazing thing, he made my desktop wireless like a laptop
and I am able to go onto my neighbors wireless network and it is way faster
than DSL and it is free. My neighbors are both Doctors and my good friends and didn't mind if an old soldier went for a free ride.
We are very pleased and would recommend Computers-ITPro to anyone with computer needs. He is fast, I gave him my computer one day expecting it would take him three or four days to rebuild…surprise…he called the next morning and said it was ready…

I went to Alaska with my son’s family and all the grand children and took lots of pictures with my digital camera and on the way home to Mooresville I stopped at my son’s home in Michigan and was trying to delete an unfocused picture from my camera and accidentally deleted all my Alaska vacation pictures. I panic and took it to BestBuy and Staples and everywhere and they all said “I would have to sent the camera card away and it would cost a lot of money to get the pictures off the card”. Jimmy Carter is a genius. My one year old HP laptop was so s l o o o o o w (when it even worked) it was unbelievable. Would lock up all the time. Jimmy (alias George Washington) Carter recovered all my data, restored all my programs, upgraded memory and installed a larger hard drive. Life is now good. Jimmy is also the nicest man you will ever meet. It doesn't matter what he charges you, he is always better, faster and worth twice what you will pay someone else. I have bought three or four computers from Jimmy. All are excellent machines. You will never find anyone who knows more about computers than my good friend Jimmy. Oh, he's also a little crazy in a nice way. I think most geniuses are. You will never forget him. He's always happy and upbeat. If he ever has a bad day you won't know about it.

Since this guy called Ernie has used all the good adjectives to describe Mr. Jimmy Carter at Computer-IT Pro; I will just have to state my comments and gratitude in some other way.
Yes, Jimmy Carter is a genius, but more importantly, he is also a man of good moral character and integrity. He repaired my old computer and then proceeded to show me from the inside of it, why it would not be running too far into the future.
I asked him to build me a new one, which he did and allowed me to actually watch him do so; It is very educational to observe him in action. We were considering buying a laptop also and he guided us to an excellent one at a great price. After he repaired the old computer, built the new one and guided us to the right laptop; he came to our home and set up a home network.
And he kept that eternal smile on his face and positive attitude while he did so! His prices are very reasonable, but that is only part of the story as he taught us many new things about our computers.
After all he is a retired science teacher and knows how to teach and was twice nominated as "teacher of the year" in New York State". His son Jimmy Carter was just selected as "teacher of the year" in the school he teaches science in Pageland, SC
I would recommend him to anyone.

I took my desktop computer to Staples and they wanted a lot of money and five days later
they said they were “scanning” it. My wife said call here friend’s husband, Jimmy, {Computers-ITPro} and I did. Jimmy fixed it in 45 minutes while I got a haircut and did it for FREE. In fact, he said it is now exactly the way it was when it came from the manufacturer and I had all my files and programs untouched….He is a magician, unreal.

Incredible service! And more importantly HONEST service!!! I took my laptop to Jimmy after having a problem "diagnosed" at a BigBox Store "squad". He found the problem and repaired the computer for ~25% of the cost quoted to me by the "squad"...in about half the time I was told it would take!

I would like the readers to know this customer had a computer problem that the IT tech she was using tried to fix for months. She uses online storage and every time she uploaded her files her PC froze {she could not even move the mouse} and she had to kill it by pulling the electric plug. {Which ruined her hard drive}. When she explained the problem to me I knew it had to be her modem, router, CPU or operating system. It turns out after trouble shooting that it was not her modem, router or operating system but it was the processor {CPU} on her motherboard that could not sustain the rate of uploading {and multi tasking} that she tried to do. I took a brand new PC {AMD Phenom 9850 Quad Core} to her home and hooked it up and it did anything she wanted to do proving her modem, router and operating system {XP} were perfectly fine.In other words she was asking her computer to multi task at a rate that it was NOT CAPABLE OF DOING. She is now a "Happy Camper" and plans to purchase a better PC.Jimmy Ahead of the Curve.

My Son in Michigan-panic, He lost all his pictures. My son Brian Brasington, 307 Crawford St. Michigan called me one day and told me he had deleted all his pictures that were on his camera SD disc; there were nearly 200 pictures. He intended to delete six and ultimately deleted everything. He is a volunteer fireman for the Stanton Michigan fire department and all their research, testing and activities were on the camera including all his family pictures for the last year. His heart sank when he discovered the SD disc was blank. I told him to mail me the disc because I have a friend who is a computer expert that owns Computers IT-Pro of Mooresville, NC, and he can get inside that disc and retrieve the pictures. He mailed me the disc, I gave it to Jimmy and within ten minutes Jimmy had 190 pictures on the computer screen. This is unbelievable what Jimmy can do on a computer. Very Responsive! Restored our Family Photos I accidentally reformatted our family's external hard drive. Once I realized that I had lost hundreds of family photos, I looked into what could be done. I first went to the 'big box' store. I was shocked at their cost to retrieve the files. I contacted IT-pro, shipped my hard drive out (I live in PA) and had all my files back in less than 1 week. To top it all off, they worked on it over a holiday weekend for me – all for about 1/5 of the price I was quoted by the other place. I know where I'll go again if I ever need computer services. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Excellent Service at Reasonable Cost After making numerous calls to find reasonable pricing to fix my network adaptor on my laptop, I finally came to the Computers-ITPro website and gave Jimmy a call. After explaining the situation, Jimmy said he could fix it and have it done within 10 minutes and all for a very reasonable price. Jimmy goes above and beyond, giving excellent service and all at a reasonable cost! Prime example - he updated my OS to Windows 7 for just the cost of the software!!! He didn't charge me for his time. Go see Jimmy if you want great service at a reasonable cost for all your computer repairs.

Karen Jimmy, of Lake Norman-ITPro, {Computers-ITPro} set up our entire network here at Queen City Pastry and set up my QuickBooks computer so I could easily back up my files every day in seconds to an external hard drive he made. He also set it up so the owner can access any of his computers from anywhere in the world by logging in using an IP address. On a personal note, my husband has a construction business and it was very important that he be able to fax an important paper out using the printer and our printer was not working so I called Jimmy and he fixed it for FREE over the phone in about five minutes. Payne Construction Jimmy built us a custom computer four years ago and it is very fast and I use it for my business. Several times since then he has fixed it because it got bad viruses and he fixed it for FREE. When he fixes a computer he makes it brand new again and you don't lose any files or music or pictures. He also does it so fast…if you give him a computer to fix on Monday he will probably call you on Monday and say it is ready to pick up. Now the best part…he doesn't charge high prices.
