What happens to your computer if you give it to Computers-ITPro LLC ®?
If you are like most people, you probably keep important files on your computer. In order to safeguard your information, Computers-ITPro takes extra precaution by saving a drive image before we work on it
We also copy all of your important files, pictures, music and data to an external internal hard drive within one of our super computers which makes the process very fast.
We also may clone your small hard drive to a larger hard drive in which case we have a perfect copy saved before we work on your computer.
Because operating systems installed on a hard drive on a computer are "motherboard specific", a saved “drive image” or cloned hard drive can only be restored on the motherboard in which they were originally installed.
All of your data is secure and viewed by NO ONE. Once we are finished restoring your machine to its maximum state of efficiency, we will securely delete your saved files.
At this point you may want us to save a "drive image" in case you need to restore your PC to the day we gave it back to you. We do this for free on one of our many external hard drives. Remember, it can only be used on your computer.
What does this mean? Let's say the children mess up the computer three days or three months after we fix it. We can generally restore your saved drive image in less than 40 minutes.
It is important for you to know that the privacy of your information is of paramount concern to us. Please be assured that our prime directive is to maintain the safety and privacy of all information contained on your computer. We do not share your information with anyone.
